A CLOSER LOOK INSIDE: Good For Bowls but not so much for Rolls
This batch is densely cured flower which mostly breaks down to smaller, harder nuggets. Using a grinder is advised unless you are using a small bowl like a bat. In some cases this is awesome: this is the kind of bud you could probably keep in your pocket and it wouldn’t even phase it. It’s like a rock in places.
It is much better suited for vaping (while breaking down in between each sesh with a shake or a stir…or simply keeping it limited to bowls, bongs, and the like..probably not best suited for rolling unless completely pummeled, and no one wants that.
The smoke produced by Wizard Gum is not thick at all and despite its creamy sweet Juicy Fruit tinged aftertaste it is a rather harsh hitting flower that produces a thin but very fragrant smoke.
The trichome coverage is more infused with the leaf material of the bud, than a coating on the surface. The reddish orange stigma, like the trichomes, seem to be infused into the bud and are found in dense clumps throughout the marbled surface.
There are clumps of pressed red-orange stigma, and trichome coverage that almost looks infused to the flower rather than dusting the surface.
CONCLUSION

THE LONG WAY HOME (my toke)
I am a huge fan if Blissful Wizard and I regard it as legendary strain like many others due to its consistent potency. I love the way some of its euphoric body buzz seems to come in waves of sensation that course through your head and chest. I don’t know much of Bubble Gum, but I can feel its influence because I know BW so well. And, from what I’ve read, BG has a tendency to increase one’s sense of humor. I can attest to that here with Wizard Gum.
I enjoyed this strain. It reminded me a bit of Diesel Dough in texture or BlackBerry maybe. And as far as effects go it seems to be Wizard Punch’s stranger, slightly hyperactive, and funnier, cousin…a little more high energy- a bit more “stoney”’….hhhmm.
I will most definitely buy this again. I will say that the density of the buds offers a nice long burn-harsh at times- it doesn’t take much to get where you want to go, even at 24%. Where it lacks in terpenes it makes up for in THC Potency. Are these numbers starting to mean less??? I wonder…
I remember basing these decisions on availability mostly…but smell, looks, and whether or not I was told it was good or REALLY good.
Either way we are where we are now and Curio– is really one of the best – especially when it comes to Sativa and Sativa hybrids.
Very nice.
“hey hey we’re The Munchies …bummer?”
The effects lasted quite awhile and the more I smoked, the more my appetite grew. I’m not big on this effect with weed- and never have been. Mostly Bc it’s not my normal reaction lkke some folks no matter what the strain – I Think they expected so it’s predictive-
Also when it happens to me I feel like it slows me down and diminishes my high sometimes.
However in the world of medical marijuana this effect is vital for the treatment of so many patients with so many illness from cancer to anorexic to ptsd and depression.
And, also with respect to de-stigmatizing, this trait is fundamental as far as the benefits of cannabis go. So, I it is clearly important. This strain reminded me of Hennessy in its ability to stimulate my personal appetite.
I had fun with it and ate everything I could find that didn’t once have a face or wasn’t tied down narrowly avoiding a rebound of acid reflux.
