APPEARANCE (consistency):
Carolina is a very pretty flower. The 1/8 I purchased from Mission in Catonsville was comprised of 3 colas: 1 small, 1 medium elongated, and one large bushy bud, which probably weighed at least 2 grams. 
The largest of the 3 is certainly comprised of smaller buds cured together on several nodes. The buds are a very robust green with long orange resin covered stigma cropping out in clusters randomly pocketed through the folded inner leaves.
Trichome coverage is nothing overwhelming yet consistently patterned over the entire surface. The buds have a rose-like petal folds compressed together into conical spires
Good For Bowls and Rolls:Very easy to break up for spliffs, bongs, and vapes.
AROMA:
- Spice -Garlic on top
- musky-earthy-pine in the middle
- Dank-stank grassy aroma underneath *this stuff reeks but with a bland, grassy smell underneath it all
TASTE:
- earthy-pine
- mint-hash in exhale
A CLOSER LOOK INSIDE:
The psychoactive effects of Carolina should not be minimized. This is even more evident when considering the .88 % limonene.
The 40% myrcene is evidence of its soothing Indica effects.
CONCLUSION:
Carolina by Curio, is a potent psychoactive and physically soothing blend of the strains Chem 1 and Sunshine Daydream, which can produce an intense and energizing cerebral euphoria as well as some deeply relaxing physical effects that can alleviate stress and anxiety.
The Long Road Home (My Toke…)
All in all in all, Carolina by Curio is an interesting strain. It has excellent visual appeal, a very interesting, if not desirably dank , odor, and a high that is both mentally stimulating and physically soothing. For me, it seemed to lean a bit more toward an active Indica strain with some Sativa highlights.
I would definitely purchase this strain again.
