Chunk Berry delivers extremely balanced effects which resolves into full bodied sedative euphoria.
In its initial stages the high engages the mind with an enterprising and inspiring cerebral energy which brings along an increased degree of mental focus as well a sense of mental heightened awareness and well being. APPEARANCE, AROMA, TASTE:

Probably the most interesting Curio flower I’ve seen in awhile since Raven and DSCT, ChunkBerry displays an ostentatious array of darkest green which appears almost black in contrast to the lime and pine green as well as the molten orange stigma/pistils/“hairs”.
Chunkberry’s resemblance to Blackberry OG is unmistakable with its dense crusty structure and its patchwork coloring; Even before I researched its lineage, I had guessed that Chunk Berry was somehow related to Blackberry OG. Either way, Curio has cultivated a complex, dense, and extremely potent looking flower with Chunk Berry.
Good For Bowls and Rolls:
quite suitable for all; Chunk Berry’s buds were easy enough to breakdown by hand, but fresh after opening they will benefit from employing the use of a grinder.
AROMA;
- A frontal aroma that is similar to a lemon drop candy
- A culinary garlic and butter like aroma
- Deeper inhale reveals a base of citrus lime
- Honey
- Pine / skunk (especially after a few days)
TASTE:
- Generic Perfumey
- Some pepper from the Caryophyllene
- Hint of Apricot?
- Deep notes of Hashish on exhale
PACKAGING:

With the slide lock lid. Curio’s packaging is, in my opinion, some of the best around as far as plastic drams. I say this mostly because of its dimensions and shape.
And even without a dedicated silicone ring seal on the cap or container, it manages to keep flower fresher for longer than most.

The Chunk Berry batches I’ve seen are relatively the same with just a bit higher level of Limonene making it a 2:1:1:1.The terpene profile for this batch of Chunk Berry seems to possess a lower level of Limonene which in effect brings the ratio to to almost a 1:1:1:1 . I think this is why Chunk Berry checks so many boxes for me in particular that it may be my new current favorite. I felt motivated, creative, and positive overall.
NOTE: Other batches with the higher Limonene may add a bit more acceleration to the cerebral side of its effects set.
MACRO:
Check out the trichome heads in these macro photos. They predict a strong head high; a very potent cerebral high. But, there are a portion of trichomes that are clouded and even some that are almost amber. These along with its orange stigma provide the more physically euphoric side of Chunk Berry’s effects.
CONCLUSION:
Chunk Berry is a cannabis strain whose playful name conceals its higher breeding being the potent offspring of a three-way breeding project involving some seriously heavy hitters: Hell’s OG x GooBerry x Recon BX. With an illustrious and complex genetic background including OG Kush, Blackberry, and LA Confidential to name a few, Chunk Berry generously inherits many of its illustrious relatives’ stronger character traits.
Aromas of lemon candy, citrus lime, honey, and a base of piney skunk, are coupled with the taste of hashish and a floral peppery-like essence.
Chunk Berry’s effects set offers an equally wildly complex spectrum of sensation and feeling; with almost equal ratios of Caryophyllene, Limonene, Myrcene, and Linalool, Chunk Berry imparts an almost instant elevation of mood, cerebral stimulation, increased mental focus, and an amplified sense of humor; its more physically euphoric effects run almost concurrent and provide a deeply relaxing full body high that is more serene than sedate and will have your mind in high gear while the body is happily immobilized.
